International Workshop on Frontiers of Materials Science and Engineering

International Workshop on Frontiers of Materials Science and Engineering will be held on 30 June 2023 (Friday) at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore..

This half-day workshop, co-organized by ICMAT 2023 and IMRE, will invite two (2) most influential scientists in the world to give seminars to address the frontier topics in materials science and engineering and share their insightful experiences on career development.

Early career researchers, post-graduate students and post-doctoral fellows are encouraged to register for ICMAT 2023 to be eligible for this event. It provides a platform for young researchers to network with global top researchers in materials science and participants will have a chance to visit IMRE’s labs.

The Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE), (click here) is a research institute of the Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). Established in September 1997, IMRE has built strong capabilities in the areas of polymeric & organic materials, composite & structural materials, advanced materials characterization & fabrication, optics and electronics. IMRE is an institute of talented researchers equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to conduct world-class materials science research to improve lives and capture economic value for Singapore.
