Symposium R2

Advances in Nanoprinting

This symposium on advances in the fields of nano/sub-micron printing will focus on the latest development of two-photon polymerization, direct laser writing and process and materials development with nanoscale resolution. These technologies are foreseen to be potentially revolutionize quite a few areas including optical lithography, nano-optics and materials engineering etc. It aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, engineers and students to exchange and share their experiences and research achievements on all aspects of nanoprinting. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for participants to present and discuss the most recent innovations, technology trends, and outlook as well as scientific and engineering challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of nanoprinting.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

  • Nanoprinting for nano optics and integrated photonics
  • 3D printed micro-optics and diffractive optical element (DOEs)
  • 3D printing for applications of MEMS/NEMS and life sciences
  • Advances on materials engineering and process development
